Accessibility and wayfinding has been improved on Great Keppel (Woppa) Island with the installation of a range of new trail signs and markers.
The signs provide much-needed maps, directions and cultural stories to guide hikers around the beautiful but rugged island, a major tourist attraction off the Queensland coast near Yeppoon. The signage suite was designed by DotDash.
Danthonia Designs were selected by Livingstone Shire Council to complete the manufacturing portion of the project. Danthonia's time-tested durable materials and finishes and high-quality manufacturing will ensure the signs are able to withstand the range of weather conditions present on the island.
Installation was completed by Trailworx.
