Burpengary State Secondary College House and Values Totems

Burpengary State College has a school house system of four Houses: Eagles, Sharks, Scorpions, and Snakes. Each house represents one of the elements – earth, sky, water, and fire – and has a trendy mascot drawing with motifs resembling indigenous artwork.

The school turned to Danthonia to create four free-standing totems to represent each of the Houses on the school grounds. The totems make great photo opportunities for students to pose with their house’s totem.

The school values of Respect, Courage and Excellence are also promoted at Burpengary State College with three-sided totems that proudly sport the school emblem and colours.
