Add an image
NOTE: Images are intended for full-colour P10 and P6.67 LED screens or very large P16 full-colour screens. If you have a small P16 resolution screen, you can play images, but the content would need to be simple: high-contrast lines or silhouettes. Images with many shades of colour will look unresolved in the low resolution of a black-and-white screen.
Because even high-resolution LED screens (P6.67) are quite low resolution compared to your computer monitor, it is recommended that you crop your image around just a few subjects, for example, three or four faces rather than a crowd of people: Detail is lost on the LED screen if you show the whole crowd or even five to ten faces.
Select the 'Playlists' tab.
Select a Playlist Name (don't tick the box).
Under 'Playlist Media Items' select 'Actions' and 'Add Image'.
Select 'Choose File'.
Select a prepared image.
Change 'Enter Effect', 'Enter Speed' and 'Play Time' as needed.
Select OK.
TIP: Supported image file types: jpeg, bmp, png, gif (static only).
IMPORTANT: If you want your images to fill the entire sign leaving no blank borders or edges, you must crop your images to the same width and height as your Sign before you upload the images to your playlist. Here's how:
On the LED control software, find the pixel dimensions of your sign located in "Sign Layout (Width x Height)"
Using the photo editor of your choice, crop the photo to those dimensions.
Save the cropped image to your computer.
Upload the prepared image to your playlist. When you preview the image in the playlist editor, it should fill your entire LED preview screen.
