Wujal Wujal Aboriginal Shire Council Signage

Wujal Wujal is the Kuku Yalanji language word for ‘many waterfalls’, a perfect name for this Aboriginal shire council located in far-north Queensland on the York peninsula.

The beautiful Bloomfield River flows through town, and impressive Wujal Wujal Falls, a popular spot for sightseers, is located just upstream.

Council won a grant and decided to upgrade their town signage – two entry monument signs, a community notice board LED sign, and wayfinding signage directing visitors to key destinations and services. The signs are bright and welcoming and will support the tourism industry within the Shire.
