The Southport School Signs

  • When we upgraded our signs we were looking for something that would make our school stand out and create that ‘lasting impression’. The high standard Danthonia’s signs reflects the quality education we offer at our school.

Danthonia was flexible with our requests, offering their expertise while keeping us fully involved at every stage of the process. We are extremely impressed with the final product as it far surpassed our expectations. The signs reflect our school and the high standard we are proud to uphold.

The Southport School (TSS) kicked off their campus-wide signage upgrade with this impressive branding sign at a busy three-way intersection near one of their playing fields. This school entry sign is not only beautiful; it is fabricated from materials that will withstand the Gold Coast climate. The posts and hanging system are marine-grade, rust proof aluminium. These aluminium pylons are enveloped in a closed-cell EPS foam ‘cladding’. On top of that, it’s coated with a four millimetre hammer-proof polyurethane coating. Resembling pillars more than sign posts, this cladding contributes to a sign design that bespeaks stability, endurance and maybe even academic rigour.

The Preparatory school followed the trend by upgrading their way finding with two new directional signs and a campus map sign. These signs make it easier for prospective parents and students to make their way around campus.
