Agnes Water State School LED display & map sign

  • We're extremely happy with our school LED sign. The whole reason we started looking at digital signage was because we wanted to catch people's eyes. It is extremely easy for us to change the sign. The software is fantastic. I can sit at my desk, type a message and it's displaying in less than 30 seconds. The first time I changed the message, people were commenting before I even went outside and had a look myself.

An idyllic 500m from the Coral Sea, Agnes Water State School wanted to be certain their school's digital sign would be able to withstand salty ocean air and 300 days of sunshine annually. That is why they approached Danthonia. Danthonia LED signs are fabricated with marine-grade, rust proof aluminium. Waterproof LED modules can be submerged in up to 1m of water with no penetration. The Danthonia design team expanded the school's black and white logo into a full colour version with hand-painted gradients using Dulux paints with names like Water Raceway, Shimmer and and Pep Talk. The electronic display is a subtle addition that will take care of keeping the school community informed and up-to-date. Along with their school LED sign, Agnes Water State School installed a map sign. Danthonia designers created a school map with clear, precise graphics and easy-to-read typography. Printed on treated aluminium this map sign will direct visitors for many years, impervious to the subtropical sun and sea air.
