Murweh Shire Council Town Entry Signs

Located deep in Central Queensland, Murweh Shire Council is home to a string of endearing outback QLD towns with names such as Charleville, Augathella, Cooladdi and Morven.

Visitors are now welcomed to the towns with these creative signs that reflect the Outback town look with rust and weathered timber finishes.

Each town is represented by a symbol representing their character. Perhaps the standout is the thirsty-looking fox on the Cooladdi sign. The original fox is located in a mural on the wall of the Foxtrap Roadhouse in Cooladdi, which, with a population of four, is Australia’s smallest town.
