Moree Public School signage

Moree Public School is a forward-thinking school with a long history. It began, in 1872, as a provisional school in a church building in north-western NSW’s premier cotton-growing town.

Last year, the school decided to upgrade its external appearance with signage and Danthonia began rolling out the most important signs. This included an LED sign to replace the old manual message board. Their school crest and name were mounted on a corrugated iron wall at the back entrance. Way-finding was also important, with visitors often getting lost on the way to Reception. The panel directional sign and wall-mounted Administration sign are placed in strategic locations and are designed to fit in with the school brand.

Only three months from the first consultation, the school leaders were posting messages on the sign from home, school and in transit.
