Isaac Local Government Sign System

  • These are the first signs of their kind to be installed in Australia.
We are very grateful to have such innovative and professional signs welcoming residents and visitors to our region.

The newly amalgamated Isaac Regional Council of Queensland required the design and supply of 7 new boundary signs to be placed at their major points of entry. The signs needed to feature their new IRC logo and images to portray the history and success of agricultural and mining operations in the area. To be effective as a place-branding tool each sign had to be large, close to the roadside and readable at night. The couplings at the base of the sign break away quickly and cleanly upon impact resulting in a minimum of damage to both property and passenger, regardless of the angle of impact. This system was recently approved by Main Roads. They are the first signs of their kind to be installed in Australia. Isaac Frangible Boundary Signs took 3rd place in the 2011 Sign & Digital Graphics PORTFOLIO contest.
