Mackay Local Government Sign System

Due to amalgamation of several smaller shire councils into a larger 'Regional council'- new names, logos and new signage was required throughout the region. This included regional gateway monuments, town entry signage and wayfinding systems including you-are-here maps for walking trails. A total of 52 signs have been designed and supplied by Danthonia to date with more on the drawing board for future roll out in stages. Several sign types were created to fulfill specific tasks but unity of design was required throughout all sub-systems to support positive brand experience for the region.
