This Impressive Celtic-style Sign Features A High-resolution LED Display

Following an upgrade of the Glen Innes CBD, we wished to have signage that would provide a quality finish to the area. Signage was also needed to direct the passing New England Highway traffic into our CBD.

We chose Danthonia Designs, our long-term partners in signage, over other options because we knew their reliable product and constantly high level of customer service from previous projects. Danthonia created this signage within our prescribed timetable and to a budget that met our needs. They exercised a large degree of patience and design flexibility to ensure the product was right for us.

As far as the quality of the signage, we’ve found that there is no real comparison in the local government signage marketplace!

Glen Innes Shire Council approached Danthonia, their local company, for signage that reflected their Celtic heritage. They also wanted a logo that could be used on a number of applications including jerseys. Danthonia came up with this traditional-style logo that fit their tourism objectives perfectly. The piper and dancer were hand carved and gilded with 23 kt gold to give a touch of class to the heritage-green sign design.

Later, a P6.67 resolution LED screen was added to the structure, giving a highly visible platform for Council to advertise local news and promote events in the tourism calendar, including the world-famous Celtic Festival.
