Rockingham entry sign

Our new entrance road needed a large statement welcoming people to the City of Rockingham. We know what makes a good entry sign - great design, durable materials, day and night visibility, a comprehensive warranty, reasonable price and good construction. Danthonia Designs ticked all the boxes. We are very happy with their engineering and installation support. They worked with us until everything was perfect.

We had to go far afield to find a sheet big enough for the unveiling of our new sign! The weather was great on Opening Day and many dignitaries were present. We stood behind the sign holding the sheet and at the right moment, we went 3,2,1 and let go. The sheet dropped dramatically, and everybody went "Ohhh."

Well-positioned on the road, you can see our sign for quite a long distance. As it's the only thing in the area that's lit up, it's impressively visible at night too.

Rockingham City Council

Rockingham City Council was looking for an entry sign. They wanted the weathered steel look and yet something that would last and be cost effective.

Cutting the designs out of weathered steel would have given very little contrast and would have been unreadable. Instead we used painted designs and add-on letters to give a good sharp contrast against the weathered steel effect. The solar lighting equipment was also housed within the structure to optimise security, access and reduce installation costs.
