James Ruse Agricultural High School directional sign

James Ruse Agricultural High School is one of NSW’s most excellent public schools. A selective school specialising in agriculture, it also supplies our country with plenty of doctors, scientists and lawyers. It consistently outperforms other state schools in the HSC. James Ruse was founded in 1956 and named after a successful local farmer.

A school with such an outstanding reputation and long history, of course, has a large number of honour boards in the administration area. When they realised visitors needed guiding to the right door in the corridor for enquiries, the James Ruse staff went out looking for a directional sign with just the right gold-and-timber look to harmonise with the gilded honour boards.

This sign is faux wood-painted HDU, meaning it has great durability, and is painted with Resene Gold Dust, a tarnish-resistant alternative to gold leaf. The sign looks like it belongs, doesn’t it?
